Analyzing the standardization status of lipid test in China through the comparison results of lipid test between China and Japan

Abstract:

From 2009 to 2010, the National Center for Clinical Laboratories of China and the Organization of Five Hospitals in Fukuoka, Japan organized the comparison activities of the results of clinical chemistry test. We summarized the technical and management issues existing in the routine clinical laboratory tests through analyzing the comparision results of the lipid test between China and Japan. The optimization of the routine procedures and the effectiveness of the quality control system are the cores of the quality differences in lipid test. How to optimize the routine measurement procedure and establish an effective quality control system are the prerequisites to achieve the standardization of lipid test in China.
