Abstract:
Objective To investigate the accuracy and consistency of complete blood count(CBC) in Hangzhou medical institutions in order to provide the foundation for mutual mutual recognition of the test results from different medical institutions in Hangzhou.
Methods Five fresh blood samples were used to investigate CBC in 29 representative medical institutions in Hangzhou. The samples were also sent to Hematology Reference Laboratory of National Center for Clinical Laboratories. The allowable total error requirement and accuracy verification method in WS/T 406-2012 were consulted. The accuracy and comparability of the return results were evaluated, the vatio of the results that meet the requirements were qualified.
Results The accuracy verification rate of the tests for WBC, RBC, Hb, HCT, PLT from the total of 63 hematology analyzers were 100.0%, 95.2%, 98.4%, 98.4%, and 100.0%. The qualified rate of the comparable evaluation of the test results for WBC, RBC, Hb, HCT, PLT, MCV, MCH and MCHC from the total of 63 hematology analyzers were 99.7%, 94.9%, 99.4%, 100.0%, 99.7%, 99.7%, 100.0%, and 100.0%.
Conclusions The accuracy and consistency of CBC results are satisfied in the medical institutions in Hangzhou. This investigation has accumulated experience and foundation for the mutual recognition of test results.
