Abstract:

Point-of-care test (POCT), is a rapid method to provide test results in different clinical environments. It can exclude the influence of sample transportation and other factors on the results, but it also has the risk of potential erroneous results. With the development of risk management theory, more and more attention has been paid to risk identification, control and reduction in POCT. There is an urgent need to improve the accuracy of the results and reduce the risk of injury to patients

Key words: Point-of-care test, Risk management, Individual quality control
