Abstract:
Objective To establish laboratory quality control comparison system based on capability index.
Method The quality control system is configured with comparison groups and selected rules. The capacity index is calculated after the quality control data is entered. The minimum capacity index of the same project of each laboratory is transmitted to the comparison system every ten days, and then compared with the absolute standard, the relative standard and the historical results respectively. The comparison results of each laboratory are gained to help the laboratory improve the quality control.
Results The quality control comparison system is established. According to the WS/T403-2012 standard, 97% of the compared batches show a good or or above precision. However, five batches of total cholesterol and glucose show a general precision, which needs to be improved individually. Moreover, 95.8% of the compared batches show good or above accuracy and the system error is the main factor leading to the degradation of enzyme project performance.
Conclusion The comparison system based on capability index can helps managers to identify potential quality control hidden dangers in terms of precision and accuracy, and provide performance improvement suggestions for various testing items according to the current technical level, and ensure the safety of patients’ results.
