Abstract:

SARS-CoV-2 sweeps the world, posing a great threat to people's lives. As a scout on the battlefield of fighting against the COVID-19, clinical laboratory technician has overcome various difficulties, carried out nucleic acid detection efficiently and accurately, and contributed to the victory of COVID-19 prevention and control. However, some problems have also been exposed in nucleic acid detection, such as imperfect biosafety protection, excessive physical and mental pressure of clinical laboratory technician and insufficient knowledge of molecular biology. Medical laboratory students are the reserve force for nucleic acid testing. These problems give us the opportunity to reflect on the teaching of medical laboratory specialty. The teaching contents of medical laboratory specialty lack of biological safety, psychological, ideological and political, clinical thinking and in-depth molecular biology education. Under the background of COVID-19, researders reflected on the problems exposed in nucleic acid testing from practice to teaching, try to make up for the loopholes in the teaching of medical laboratory specialty and solve the problems exposed in the first-line nucleic acid testing by changing the traditional teaching thinking, increasing practical teaching and organizing teaching activities.

Key words: SARS-CoV-2, medical laboratory specialty, teaching, reflect
