Abstract:

Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases become the primary cause of death worldwide,of which atherosclerosis is a basis pathological procedure. Sorts of biomarkers participate in the process of atherosclerosis plaque formation, the most common are lipoproteins like low-density lipoprotein(LDL),high-density lipoprotein(HDL),apolipoprotein A(ApoA),ApoB and lipoprotein a[Lp(a)],inflammation factors like homocysteine (HCY),reactive protein (CRP),interleukin (IL-6),Lp-PLA2,intercellular adhesion molecular-l (ICAM-1),tumor necrosis factor(TNF),fibrinogen(FIb),neoprerin(NPT),monocyte chemoatt-ractant protein-1 (MCP-1),chtinase-3-like-l protein(YKL-40),macrophage inhibition factor(MIF),coagulation factors like von Willebrand factor(vWF),and D-dimer(D-D).Combining detection of these biomarkers is helpful for deter mining the clinical progress of atherosclerosis.
