The application of decision tree of iRICELL3000 full-automatic urine analysis pipeline in urinary tract infection screening analysis

Abstract:

Objective

To discuss the application value of IRICELL3000 full-automatic urine analysis pipeline in rapid screening for urinary tract infection (UTI).

Methods

The leukocyte esterase(LEU), nitrite(NIT), white blood cell(WBC), bacterial content(BACT) and small particles(ASP) of urine samples were determined in 730 cases by quantitative bacterial culture of mid-stream urine and RICELL3000 full-automatic urine line. Bacterial culture of mid-stream urine and clinical diagnosis of UTI are the gold standards. Apply decision tree model to evaluate the clinical application value of iRICELL3000 full-automatic urine analysis pipeline in rapid screening for UTI.

Results

The decision tree model was established through the LEU, NIT, WBC, BACT and ASP detected via the application of iRICELL3000 full-automatic urine analysis, and the accuracy rate of this model was 85.25%.

Conclusion

The application of decision tree of iRICELL3000 full-automatic urine analysis pipeline in rapid screening for UTI is available and the application for negative exclusion in UTI is valuable.
