Abstract:
Objective Through self-developed sample barcode information management system, the process of cytopathic examination can be reconstructed to reduce manual labour, improve efficiency, reduce cost and improve quality.
Methods The bar code was used as the unique identification information, instead of the application of the serial number (pathological number) in the process of cell pathology detection, and the entire information tracking and management of the sample was conducted.
Results The whole-course of sample information management was realized. Before analysis, the corresponding sequencing of the cytopathic samples and application forms was not required, and the sample information was scanned and collected. In the analysis, the cell pathology slides were scanned in the shape of the barcode, and the slide label was changed into a machine to label, which ensured the one-to-one correspondence between the sample during the slide preparation and the slide. All the data were recorded by scanning the code. After the analysis, the cytopathic samples and slides were stored by scanning and positioning to achieve quick query.
Conclusion It is feasible for cancellation of pathological numbers in cytopathologic examination process and the realization of bar code information management of samples. After process reengineering, the work efficiency is improved by 15.38% to 29.00%, and personnel cost is saved by 16.67% to 25.00%. Data standardization management is realized.
