Practice and experience of critical value management in primary hospitals

Abstract:

Objective

To explore the measures and effects of critical value management in primary hospitals by the continuous improvement of the management of critical value of inspection in our hospital.

Methods

The establishment and application of critical value management, the addition and adjustment of critical value items and scope in recent years were analyzed, and the experience of application was summarized.

Results

We believe that the management of critical value of inspection in primary hospitals should at least do the following: the critical value should be reported through a combination of laboratory information management system and telephone report; with the introduction and application of new techniques and items in clinical laboratory, the inspection critical value items should be adjusted and supplemented in time; at the same time, the continuous adjustment of critical value items and the preliminary setting of specialist critical value should be done well.

Conclusions

By strengthening the establishment, training, implementation and supervision of the critical value system, and using information technology to carry out the daily management of critical value, primary hospitals have far-reaching significance for the continuous improvement of the critical value reporting system.
