目的

学习和本地化搭建生物样本库信息管理系统,为临床医学研究建立生物样本资源信息管理平台提供应用解决方案。

方法

通过对OpenSpecimen平台本地化搭建及推广,结合平台本身特色和调研外部使用情况,对该资源信息管理平台网络化建设进行探讨。

结果

建立了一套标准、稳定及系统的资源信息管理平台,可保障医学研究项目的开展。

结论

OpenSpecimen是一个开源的、免费的、并由专业开发团队维护的资源信息管理系统。系统以流水线过程为特色,汇集了基于标准的高质量数据,并使用了国际建立的标准,例如医学系统命名法-临床术语、国际疾病分类标准及观测指标标识符逻辑命名与编码系统,并允许用户自定义标准化编码系统等,提高了样本资源信息数据的标准化建设,简化了样本资源管理流程,为实现多个医学样本库间信息交换建立了通用的接口。

Objective

To study and locally construct a biobank database informaion management platform, so as to provide application solutions for the establishment of such platform in clinical research.

Methods

By building and promoting the localization of OpenSpecimen system and combining the systems’ features with external usage report, we discussed the network construction of the specimen information management system.

Results

A specimen information management platform with standardized, stable and systematic features was established to facilitate the progression of clinical research.

Conclusions

OpenSpecimen is an open source, free information management platform, developed and maintained by a professional team. It was featured by a streamlined process of collecting high quality standards-based data, using internationally established standards, such as Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine-Clinical Terms (SNOMED-CT), International Classification of Diseases (ICD), Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC), etc. It also allowed users to customize standard coding system. As a result, it greatly improved the standardization of specimen information data collection, simplified the biobanking management process and established a common interface for clinical meta-data exchange between multiple biobanking sites.
