At present, construction of laboratory physician team in China is still at the primary stage. Compared with European and American countries, the laboratory physician team in our county is mainly junior and secondary titles based, and shortage of senior laboratory physician is very much a live issue in China. Clear job responsibility is an important prerequisite for laboratory physician training and team building. This paper discussed how the laboratory physicians fulfilled their responsibilities and eventually to help solve clinical problems with their laboratory and clinic knowledge.
